What are the general techniques for brow lifting? In general there are 2 types of lifts. There are either it’s done using open technique where you use incision from ear to ear across the head or modification of that incision or using an endoscope through limited incisions maybe 4 or 5 incisions in the hairline. It really depends upon the severity of the laxity and issues that needs to be treated. Very commonly I’ll do it endoscopic brow lift for most patients who have a low forehead and who have mostly lateral upper eyebrow hooding issues. For patients that have high foreheads who have severe laxity I may use an open technique and that really depends upon the individual.
