Sometimes there are rhinoplasty where grafting material is needed to either augment to dorsam of the nose the top of the nose or have a correct deviations of the nose or improve the appearance of the tip or the alar rims. Where are these drafts obtained or what are these grafts? In general these are cartilage drafts, most commonly cartilage drafts can be obtained from the septum the central structure in the nose, the ear or even the person’s rib. Sometimes cartilage obtained from cadaver and other products for use of augmentation of the nose. In general I prefer the patient’s own tissue or their own cartilage material for drafting.
