Undergoing breast enhancement surgery is virtually life changing. Not only can you look and the mirror and see the body you always envisioned for yourself but you can also fill clothes out in a way that enhances your overall look. As one of the post-op perks, shopping for a new bra after your surgery is not only fun but it can be exciting as well. Show off your new assets in the dressing room and use these helpful tips to get the right size and fit.

showPadding
Padding isn’t just ideal for those women who don’t have the size of breasts they desire. In fact, padding is great at hiding the fact that you’re cold or any skin exposure. When shopping for a new bra after surgery, opt for a bra with minimal padding that will help to cover you up but not add too much additional cleavage.
Underwire
One of the biggest complaints that women have when shopping for bras is having to deal with underwire. Not only can underwire sometimes dig into your skin but it can also contribute to the overall feeling of, well, being downright uncomfortable. When you go shopping for a new bra after your surgery, opt out of underwire. Because your new breasts are not only fuller, but perkier too, there’s no need for the additional and irritating support of underwire.
Structure
If you do decide to forego underwire altogether, look for a bra that still has enough structure and support. For instance, you want to ensure that the bra has equally enough side and back support as it does front support. This will not only help you to feel more comfortable throughout the day but it will make the appearance of your breasts look more natural under things such as a t-shirt.
Sports Bras
One of the hardest things to get used to after breast enhancement surgery is working out. Not only do you suddenly have more weight on your chest, but things like running are also a little more difficult to get used to. When shopping for a sports bra after your surgery, make sure you opt for one with enough support— one that will not only hold your breasts in place during exercises such as running and jumping, but one that will also give your back the support it needs through things such as a T-strap.
